This Morning Parmesan chicken pasta

Slightly adapted This Morning Clodagh recipe. Some of this can be prepped in advance eg cooking the chicken or the pasta to use later.

Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 180°
Step 2
Boil pasta and set aside
Step 3
Heat some olive oil in a pan
Step 4
Chop the chicken into bite size pieces Season and cook in a pan for 3 mins

Chop onion and add to pan
Step 6
Add garlic (chopped or crushed)
Step 7
In a saucepan add the butter on a low heat and allow to melt
Step 8
Add the flour and make a roux
Step 9
Whisk in the milk to make a sauce
Step 10
Add the grated Parmesan and stir till melted
Step 11
Transfer the chicken and onions into a casserole baker
Step 12
Blanch the broccoli (put in boiling water for a min)
Step 13
Add the broccoli on top of the chicken
Step 14
Pour on the sauce
Step 15
Sprinkle on the breadcrumbs and add the pine nuts on top
Step 16
Bake for 25 min
