Instructions

Step 1
Spray the pan with one cal spray and soften the onions and garlic.
Step 2
Add the mince and brown followed by the mushrooms and carrots and cook for 5 mins.
Step 3
Add everything to the slow cooker and then add the tomato puree, flour, red wine, Worcestershire Sauce, and beef stock. Cook on high for 3hrs.
Step 4
With 30 mins to go add in the frozen veg. While the cottage pie is cooking make the mashed potato.
Step 5
Once the filling is cooked check for seasoning and maybe add extra salt, pepper or even thyme.
Step 6
Once done add the mashed potato to cover the top of the cottage pie and drag a fork across the top and top with extra butter.
Step 7
Add under a grill for about 10 mins or until the potatoes are brown
