Instructions

Step 1
Heat 1 tablespoon of the oil a large saucepan. Add the onion and cook, stirring, until soft, about 5 minutes. Add the garlic and cook another minute.
Step 2
Add the beef and cook, breaking up the meat with a wooden spoon, until browned, about 8 minutes.
Step 3
Add 1/2 of the sachet mix and 1 tin of chopped tomatoes to the pan, stirring for about 2 minutes.
Step 4
Add the chopped pepper and beans.
Step 5
Season to taste with salt and pepper. Then add the parsley
Step 6
Cook, stirring occasionally until the chili thickens slightly.
Step 7
The longer you cook this chili, the better it tastes, so cook it low and slow. If you have the time, cooking on low heat for 1 hour is a beauty!
Step 8
Serve with 1/2 of the cooked basmati rice and topped with greek yoghurt
