Step 1
Steam broccoli under easily pierced with a fork; set aside to cool. Cook water chestnuts in a small pot on stove for 5 to 10 minutes; set aside to cool. In a deep casserole dish, layer in the following order: crackers, broccoli, chestnuts, sliced Velveeta. Drizzle butter on top of each cracker layer. End casserole with crackers and butter on top. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until golden brown and bubbling.
