Mahalabieh is an ancient Middle Eastern dessert. Basically it’s a Semolina and Orange Blossom flavored milk pudding, topped with pistachios and a rose water simple syrup.

Instructions
Step 1
Mix well the semolina & 1 cup of milk together in a deep bowl, to a thick paste, without lumps then set aside.
Step 2
In a non-stick pan, combine the remaining milk and sugar on the low heat with constant stirring, until the mixture starts to simmer in the edges, pour in the semolina/ milk mixture and continuously whisk till well incorporated and the mixture starts to thicken.
Step 3
Take the mixture off the heat, add the cream, blossom water, and mix all the ingredients together well.
Step 4
Pour the mixture into serving dishes, Keep it in the refrigerator for a minimum of two hours or till ready to serve.
Step 5
Serve chilled with pistachios garnished on the top.
