My grandma's great bread and butter pudding recipe!

Step 1
Grease and oven safe dish
Step 2
Spread bread with filing of your choice, and place into dish in 2 layers.
Step 3
Preheat oven to 150°C
Step 4
Gently heat the milk and cream together
Step 5
Meanwhile, vigorously beat the eggs with the sugar.
Step 6
Pour the heated milk and cream over the egg and sugar, and mix
Step 7
Pour the mixture over the bread
Step 8
Leave to stand for 30 minutes
Step 9
Bake for 1 hour (check after 40 minutes)
Step 10
