Ingredients

For pressure cooking
1 ½ cuptoor daal
1onion
large, chopped large
1tomato
big, chopped big
3green chillies
chopped big
salt
½ tsphaldi
1 tspchilli powder
½ cupmint
chopped
Water
just enough to cover
For daal
1onion
Sliced, medium
1 tspdhansak masala
1 tspparsi dhana jeera
1 tspparsi sambhar powder
¼ cuptomato puree
Instructions
Step 1
Pressure cook all ingredients for 15 min
Step 2
Mash after pressure cooking
Step 3
Sautee onions to golden brown
Step 4
Add all masalas and tomato puree
Step 5
Allow oil to seperate
Step 6
Add water to daal and add into pot
Step 7
Allow it to boil for 10 -15 minutes . Add water if needed
