Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 170°C. Line cake pan with baking paper.
Step 2
Separate the eggs and beat the egg whites until stiff.
Step 3
Beat egg yolks and sugar until foamy and add oil, water and vanilla extract.
Step 4
Mix flour and baking powder and fold into the dough alternately with the beaten egg whites.
Step 5
Pour into the prepared cake pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
Step 6
Let cake cool and prepare the custard in the meantime.
Step 7
Spread jam on the cake base and place bananas cut lengthwise on the cake base. Spread custard and let cool.
Step 8
Meanwhile, heat a dash of heavy cream and melt the chocolate in it.
Step 9
Spread the melted chocolate on the cake and chill it.
