Instructions
Step 1
Pour 150 ml of water and milk into a saucepan over medium heat. Heat to the first bubble.
Step 2
Meanwhile, mix the polenta with the remaining water and stir vigorously to prevent lumps.
Step 3
When the contents of the pot have warmed up, gradually add the soaked polenta, stirring constantly with a whisk and whisking to prevent lumps.
Step 4
Reduce the heat to a minimum and, stirring occasionally, heat for a further 10 to 15 minutes until the porridge has absorbed the milk.
Step 5
Add a pinch of salt and sugar and vanilla extract. Place the lid and let it stand for a few more minutes.
Step 6
Chop cranberries and add to the porridge.
Step 7
Sprinkle with cinnamon and enjoy.
