Instructions
Step 1
Clean oranges and cranberries. Prepare one orange by slicing it into rounds. Remove the zest with a vegetable peeler from the other orange and then juice it. Set aside orange juice, slices, and zest.
Step 2
Combine honey and water in large pot and cook over medium heat until honey has dissolved.
Step 3
Add orange zest, cloves, and cinnamon sticks to pot. Cook for a few minutes until fragrant.
Step 4
Add cranberries, orange slices, orange juice, and wine to pot. Cook on medium until it starts to just simmer and the. Turn down heat to low. Let simmer 30 min - 1 hour.
Step 5
Once cranberries have started to burst, squish the rest up against the side of the pot to release the juices.
Step 6
Line a mesh sieve with cheese cloth or a coffee filter and strain gluhvine into large bowl, making sure to gather the cheese cloth and squeeze all juices out. Serve immediately. Let cool completely before storing in fridge.
