Instructions
Step 1
Take off skin and fat on chicken if needed. Brown in oil.
Step 2
Mix the rest of ingredients except cornstarch and pour over chicken. Simmer covered for 35-45 minutes (or up to 2 hours).
Step 3
Turn at least 2 times during cooking.
Step 4
When ready to serve, remove chicken and pour mixture of 2 Tbsp cornstarch and 2 Tbsp cold water to thicken sauce.
Step 5
Pour over chicken and/or reserve for rice sauce. Sprinkle chicken with sesame seeds.
