Instructions

Dough

Step 1
Add milk, sugar, and yeast to bowl of a stand mixer and let sit for about 10 minutes

Add melted butter, eggs, salt, strawberry powder and flour to the bowl and mix with a spoon until shaggy

Kneed with dough hook until a ball forms and no longer sticks to the bowl

Let dough rest in a oiled bowl for 1 -2 hours or until doubled in size

Assembly

Roll out dough on a flowered surface into a rectangle and then spread softened butter over top leaving a small border all around

Mix together sugar and powdered strawberries and sprinkle over the butter and then layer the sliced strawberries evenly.

Roll and slice into 8 even rolls and place in and 13x9 baking dish. Cover with a moist dish towel and saran wrap, and let it sit for 1 to 2 hours until puffy.

Baking

Step 8
Pre heat oven to 350 and bake for 25-30 minutes

Icing

Step 9
While rolls are baking mix cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and powdered strawberries until smooth.
