Instructions

Step 1
In a large mixing bowl, combine the beef, 1/2 cup parmesan, and white bread. add milk, egg, oregano, basil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and black pepper.
Step 2
Mix with a wooden spoon until combined (use a wooden spoon and not your hands or a metal spoon so the heat from your hands does not melt the fat in the beef)
Step 3
Using a 1-inch scoop or a spoon, scoop mixture into 20 meatballs and place on baking sheet. Refrigerate for 30 minutes
Step 4
place all sauce ingredients into the pot and stir with a spatula or wooden spoon
Step 5
assemble pressure lid, making sure pressure release valve is in the SEAL position, select PRESSURE and set to low. set timer to 10 minutes and select START/STOP to begin
Step 6
when pressure cooking is complete quick release pressure by moving the pressure release valve to the VENT position. Carefully remove lid when unit has finished releasing pressure
Step 7
stir sauce. Select SEAR/SAUTE and set to HI. Let sauce simmer for about 5 minutes stirring frequently
Step 8
spray deluxe reversible rack with cooking spray, then place it in the pot (in lower steam position without the deluxe layer installed) then place half the meatballs on the rack.
Step 9
close teh crisping lid. select AIR CRISP, set temperature to 400F, and set time to 15 minutes. Select START/STOP to begin
Step 10
after 7 minutes, install the deluxe layer on the rack, and place the remaining meatballs on it. Close the lid to resume cooking
Step 11
when cooking is complete remove meatballs from rack and place in sauce. Divide meatballs and sauce between hoagie rolls. Top each with parmesan cheese before serving
