Instructions

Step 1
In a large saucepan, cook bacon until crisp.

Drain, reserving 1 tablespoon drippings.

Set bacon aside.
Step 4
Stir in flour, salt, garlic, onion and pepper; mix well.

Gradually add broth.
Step 6
Bring to boil; boil and stir for 2 minutes.
Step 7
Add the potatoes and cream; heat through but do not boil.
Step 8
Mix in Bacon.
Step 9
Garnish with cheese
