Step 1
Remove the steak from the pan and leave to rest. In the same pan, gently fry the ginger and garlic until softened. Add in the sugar, gochujang, soy, vinegar and water then bring up to a simmer, stir until the sugar has dissolved and the sauce has thickened. Add some dried chilli flakes to taste then sprinkle over the sesame seeds and chives.
