Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 200°C. Chill a bakingpan in the freezer. Do not grease the pan.
Step 2
Blend the butter, egg, sugar, and salt together until it's creamy.
Step 3
Add the flour and vanilla and mix with your hands until the mixture holds together in clumps. If it seems overly soft, add extra flour.
Step 4
Press the dough with your hands onto the baking sheet until it is even. Dust the top with raw sugar.
Step 5
Bake at 200°C about 12 - 15 min until the edges turn golden. Remove from the oven
Step 6
Let it cool for about 5 min before cutting it into squares.
