or mafalda
1 lbslean ground beef
can use 1- 2 pounds
1onion
small, chopped
1 clovegarlic
minced
29 ouncestomato sauce
or Prego spaghetti sauce onion & garlic
6 oztomato paste
1 tablespoonitalian seasoning
8 ouncescream cheese
softened
8 ouncessour cream
8 ouncesmozzarella
shredded
12 ouncescottage cheese
½ cupshredded parmesan
Instructions
Step 1
While meat is browning cook noodles according to package directions rinse in Coldwater set-aside
Step 2
Combine and brown ground beef onion and garlic - drain if needed
Step 3
Add tomato sauce pace and Italian seasoning to meat mixture - heat through
Step 4
Combine cream cheese, sour cream, shredded mozzarella, cottage cheese, and Parmesan - works well to combine in mixer
Step 5
In a lightly greased 9 x 13 pan layer 1/3 noodles 1/3 sauce 1/3 cheese mixture. Repeat 2 more times
Step 6
Bake at 400° - 425° for about 25 mins. Cheese should be lightly browned and sauce bubbling If you make ahead and bake one cold baked covered with foil for 25 minutes uncover and finish baking until cheese is lightly browned and sauce is bubbling
