Instructions

Step 1
Combine the oats, 1 and 1/2 cups water, and the salt in a medium saucepan. Cool over low heat, undisturbed and uncovered, until oats absorb all the liquid, for 7 to 8 minutes. (Do not stir.)
Step 2
Add the sour cream, honey, and another 1/4 cup water to the oats. Stir to combine. Simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally, for 2 to 3 minutes, until thickened.
Step 3
To serve, divide oatmeal between bowls. Top each with 1 tablespoon kajmak, half of the chopped apple, and 1 tablespoon walnuts.
