I added Whipped Cream vodka and Strawberry Vodka to my homemade whipped cream but it can be omitted for this recipe.

For the pudding
Step 1
In a small bowl, add pudding mix and milk and whisk until pudding is set. Add Cool Whip and set aside
Directions to Make the Homemade Whipped Cream
Step 2
In a bowl or stand alone mixer, beat the cold heavy cream until soft peaks form. Add powdered sugar, and vanilla extract and beat another 1-2 minutes.
Step 3
Split whipped cream into two bowls. In one bowl, add whipped cream vodka and mix well. In the other bowl, add strawberry vodka and red food coloring and mix well. Set aside.
To assemble the trifle
Step 4
Using a serrated knife, cut pound cake into cubes. In a trifle bowl, add a layer of pound cake. Add sliced strawberries along the side of the trifle.
Step 5
Top with vanilla pudding mixture. Add sliced strawberries on top of the pudding mixture. Top with more pound cake and then add the strawberry vodka infused whipped cream.
Step 6
Add another layer of strawberries and repeat until the top. Top with homemade whipped cream and decorate with whole strawberries along the top of the trifle bowl. Refrigerate for a few hours and enjoy!
