Ingredients

2 Tbspbutter
divided
2 Tbspolive oil
divided
⅓ cAll Purpose Flour
2 cupschicken broth
2 cupsmilk
½ csour cream
1 tspdijon mustard
1 teaspoonsalt
black pepper
dried parsley
garlic powder
1.5cheddar cheese
grated
3 cupsbroccoli florets
cooked
2chicken breasts
precooked and cubed, or rotisserie chicken
1 cPanko breadcrumbs
½ cgrated parmesan cheese
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350
Step 2
Make the cheese sauce: Melt together 1 tbsp butter and olive oil. Add 1/3 c flour and whisk together.
Step 3
Whisk in 2 cups chicken broth and whisk in 2 cups milk. Bring to a boil while whisking continuously. Then bring down to a simmer.
Step 4
Add 1 tsp Dijon mustard, S&P, 1 tsp parsley & garlic powder to the sauce
Step 5
Add 1 1/2 grated cheddar cheese and 1/2 c sour cream to the sauce
Step 6
Mix until cheese is melted and take off the heat.
Step 7
In a greased casserole dish add 3 cups cooked broccoli, 2 cups cooked chicken. Pour the cheese sauce over
Step 8
Optional: add 1/2 c grated Parmesan cheese on top
Step 9
In a pan melt 1 tbsp olive oil and butter and add 1c Panko breadcrumbs and toast. Pour over top. Cover in foil and bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
