Step 1
Coat the 4 chicken halves with flour.
Step 2
Heat margarine in 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat.
Step 3
Cook chicken and garlic in margarine 4 to 6 minutes, turning once, until chicken is brown.
Step 4
Cut lemon in half. Squeeze juice from 1/2 of the lemon and cut remaining half in round slices. Set aside.
Step 5
Add wine, broth, lemon juice from 1/2 lemon, lemon slices, and capers; sprinkle with pepper. Heat until hot.
Step 6
When serving, arrange lemon slices and capers on top of chicken.
NOTE:
Step 7
Before using and measuring capers, be sure to drain off the vinegar. If the capers are packed in brine, rinse and drain well before measuring.
