Instructions

Step 1
Cut off the ends from the bulb of garlic. Over the garlic, sprinkle olive oil wrap in tin foil, and bake for 30 to 45 minutes at 400 degrees F.
Step 2
In a small pot, cover 4 oz. of dried chilis with water. Bring to a simmer, then let it simmer until soft. About 15 to 20 minutes.
Step 3
Slice the onion and put it in the blender or food processor. Add baked garlic, softening chilis (drained) as well as fire-roasted tomatoes (drained). Then blend until the mixture is smooth.

Step 4
Put the puree in the pot. Add the remaining wet ingredients.
Step 5
In the pot, combine all of the dry ingredients.
Step 6
Bring it to a boil and stir it for 15 to 18 minutes
