Sticky toffee pudding

Really yummy and easy pudding. I just use a squirt (tablespoon) toffee sauce from a bottle. Make your own? 1 tablespoon golden syrup, 90ml double cream, 45g butter and 30g sugar into small saucepan. Stir on low heat 3-4 minutes until sugar dissolves, then bring to boil and simmer for 2 minutes.

Step 1
Chop dates add to pan with water. Bring to boil

Take off heat, add 1tsp bicarbonate of soda. Stir then add butter. Allow to cool a little

In bowl measure flour, sugar together

Add to date mixture

Beat in eggs
Step 6
Place in pudding moulds and bake

180 degrees C for 20-25 minutes
