Instructions
Step 1
Peel and chop potatoes, and add to a pot of salted water.
Step 2
Bring water to a boil, and boil for 15-20 minutes until potatoes are fork tender.
Step 3
Strain potatoes and add to a stand mixer or bowl with a hand mixer.
Step 4
Add in butter, cream cheese, milk, sour cream, salt, and garlic powder. Mix on low-medium speed until potatoes become fluffy. Adjust milk to reach desired thickness.
Step 5
Add fluffy potatoes back to the pot and fold in chives. Heat them back up if they lost temperature while mixing.
Step 6
Serve with a sprinkle of chives and a pat of butter.
