Step 1
Cut thighs into 16 pieces, place in a bowl and add salt, sugar, pepper, and five spice. Mix well.
Add turmeric, garlic, shallots, lemongrass, Chile, lime leaves, sesame oil, and fish sauce. Mix well.
Marinate for at least 30 minutes. Pour chicken on skewers fry baskets and grill over med high heat for 4-5 minutes each side or until inside registers 165 degrees instant read thermometer.
Serve with Hoi An garlic rice and Thai cabbage slaw.
