Ingredients

For the steak:
3Blade steaks
olive oil
1 ½ tspsalt
1 ½ tsponion powder
1 tspground black pepper
butter
3garlic cloves
rosemary
thyme
For the potatoes:
500 grpotatoes
sliced
olive oil
1 ½ tspdried parsley
1 ½ tsppaprika powder
1 tspcayenne powder
1 tspsalt
1onion
sliced
For the sauce:
Instructions
For the steak:
Step 1
Marinate the steak with oil, salt, black pepper and onion powder.
Step 2
Put your pan on high heat, add some oil and wait till the pan has warmed up. Now add your steak and sear it on one side.
Step 3
Use a thermometer to check the temperature of the steak. Once your steak reaches 150 degrees turn it around and sear the other side.
Step 4
Add the butter, garlic, rosemary and thyme to the pan and start basting your steak. Do this until this side of the steak reaches 150 degrees as well.
Step 5
Once the steak has reached the acquired temperature, let it rest for 10 minutes and cut it to your liking.
For the potatoes:

Marinate the potatoes with some olive oil, parsley, salt, paprika and cayenne.
Step 7
Pan fry the potatoes and add the sliced onions. Turn the heat to low and cover the pan with a lid.
For the sauce:

Put some butter in a pan, add the chopped onion, garlic and pepper corn or ground pepper to the pan.
Step 9
Saute the mix and add some heavy cream .
Step 10
Keep mixing until the sauce gets thicker. If you’re having difficulty with thickening the sauce, you can add some parmesan to the mix.
Serve

Put the sauce over your steak and serve with some lyonnaise potatoes on the side!
