Sweet and Sticky Pork Ribs in a Fireball Whisky Glaze.

Instructions
Step 1
Trim any fat from the ribs and remove the membrane.
Step 2
Add the water into a pan and bring to a boil and add in the stock cube.
Step 3
Separate the ribs and add them to the water ensure that there is enough water in the pan to cover the ribs and cook for approximately 60-75mins, on medium to low heat, keep checking the pan to ensure it doesn’t boil dry.
Step 4
While the ribs are boiling make the rub. Add the brown sugar, garlic and onion granules, paprika and chilli powder to a large bowl season with salt and pepper and mix.
Step 5
Remove the ribs from the pan and allow to drain on a wire rack for 2-3 minutes.
Step 6
Once drained add the ribs to the bowl with the rub and toss until the ribs are coated. Preheat the oven to 170 degrees (fan).
Step 7
Place a sheet of foil onto the baking tray. Add the ribs to the baking tray. Slice the apple and place it on top of the ribs and then rap the foil tightly around the ribs.
Step 8
Put the ribs into the oven and cook for 1 hour.
Step 9
Add the honey and Fireball into a bowl and mix.
Step 10
Remove the ribs from the oven and carefully open the foil, be careful as steam will escape when opening the foil, remove the apple slices and discard. Brush the ribs on both sides and use plenty of the glaze. Place the ribs back into the oven and cook for 10 more minutes.
Step 11
Remove the ribs from the oven, there will be a lot of sticky glaze laying in the bottom of the foil, glaze the ribs with it and serve.
Step 12
Lick you’re lips and enjoy.
