Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Combine butter, sugar, bourbon, and corn syrup in a medium saucepan and cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves. Cool slightly.
Step 2
Add eggs, vanilla, and salt and mix well. Pour into pie shell and top with pecan halves.
Step 3
Bake for 50-55 minutes until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack.
