Instructions

Step 1
1 cup almond butter (or any nut butter of your choice), 1/2 cup whey protein powder (vanilla or chocolate flavor), 1 tsp. NOW Organic Stevia for sweetener, 1 egg, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 1/2 tsp baking soda, pinch of salt, 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (optional).
Step 2
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a mixing bowl, combine the almond butter, protein powder, stevia, egg, vanilla extract, baking soda, and salt. Mix until well combined. If desired, fold in the dark chocolate chips. Scoop out spoonfuls of dough and place them on the baking sheet. Flatten each cookie slightly with a fork. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges turn golden brown. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
