Instructions
Step 1
Add heavy cream to a 2-qt saucepan. Bring to a slow boil over medium heat. Using a whisk, add 1 cup of pesto sauce, mixing well. Remove from heat and set aside.

Step 2
Cook pasta in boiling water. When al dente, drain and rinse with cold water. Set aside.

Step 3
In a large skillet, add butter or olive oil and heat over medium-high heat. Add garlic and shallots and saute for about 1 minute. Add chicken tenders and saute until firm and lightly browned (4 to 5 minutes). Add pesto and cream mixture and bring to a simmer. Cook an additional 2 to 3 minutes, until chicken is fully cooked. Add pasta and continue cooking only long enough to heat through.
