Instructions

Step 1
Prepare the Bean Mixture In a large bowl, mash the black beans with a fork or potato masher until mostly smooth, leaving some chunks for texture.

Step 5
Assemble the Burgers Lightly toast the burger buns if desired. Place a turkey bean patty on the bottom half of each bun. Add your choice of toppings such as lettuce, tomato, avocado, red onion, cheese, ketchup, mustard, or mayo.
Step 6
Serve Place the top bun on each burger and serve immediately. These Turkey Bean Burgers are perfect alongside a fresh salad, sweet potato fries, or a classic side of chips.
