Instructions
Step 1
Chicken Preparation:
Wash the chicken with vinegar and lime, then season with paprika, chili powder, Cajun seasoning, adobo, and garlic paste. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, add the chicken, and cook for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before slicing.
Step 2
Alfredo Sauce:
Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the garlic paste and sautƩ for 1-2 minutes. Gradually stir in the heavy cream, then add the softened cream cheese until melted. Season with Italian seasoning, Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir in chopped parsley and whisk in the Parmesan cheese until smooth. Remove from heat.
Step 3
Garlic Butter Spread:
Preheat the oven to 350Ā°F. Slice the tops off 3 garlic cloves, drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper. Wrap in foil and bake for 50 minutes. In a bowl, mix softened butter, salt, pepper, parsley, and squeezed roasted garlic until well combined.
Step 4
Assembly:
Slice the loaf of bread in half lengthwise and generously spread the garlic butter mixture on both halves. Next, add a layer of Alfredo sauce, followed by mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Top with chopped chicken, drizzle with more Alfredo sauce, and sprinkle with additional cheese if desired. Finish with a sprinkle of parsley.
Step 5
Baking:
Bake at 350Ā°F for 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Serve with extra Alfredo sauce on the side for dipping.
