Ingredients

Cake:
1 cchopped pecans
or walnuts
18.5 ozyellow cake mix
3.25 ozVanilla Instant Pudding
4eggs
½ cupwater
cold
½ cvegetable oil
½ cDark rum
Glaze:
Instructions
Step 1
NOTE: If using yellow cake mix with pudding already in the mix; omit instant pudding and use 3 eggs instead of 4 and 1/3 c. oil instead of 1/2 c.
Step 2
Preheat oven to 325F.
Step 3
Grease and flour 10" tube or Bundt pan.
Step 4
Sprinkle nuts over bottom of pan.
Step 5
Mix all cake ingredients together and pour over nuts.
Step 6
Bake 1 hour. Cool.
Step 7
Invert on serving plate. Prick top. Spoon and brush glaze evenly over top and sides. Allow cake to absorb glaze. Repeat until glaze is used up.
Glaze:
Step 8
Melt butter in saucepan. Stir in water and sugar. Boil 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in rum.
