Makes a tasty frittata for either breakfast or dinner. I did not add the veggies, and I cooked this in a glass pie plate instead of a cast iron pan as shown in the picture. I also used Mrs. Dash table seasoning spice blend, but listed the main ingredients separately in the ingredient list since the app wouldn’t recognize ‘Mrs. Dash.’

Ingredients

2 Tblsalted butter
6eggs
¼ cupheavy whipping cream
½ tsppepper
½ tspsalt
¼ tsppaprika
¼ tsponion powder
¼ tspgarlic powder
⅛ tspthyme
⅛ tspBasil
⅛ tspchili powder
⅛ tsporegano
2 tspstone ground mustard
2 Tblbacon crumbles
1 cupMexican blend cheese
shredded, what I had on hand
8 ozdiced ham
precooked
½ tspred pepper flakes
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 355 degrees. Put pie plate with 2 Tbl butter in oven to melt
Step 2
Crack the 6 eggs into a bowl and use whisk to blend together. Add heavy whipping cream and blend.
Step 3
Add seasonings (minus red pepper flakes) and bacon crumbles to egg mixture, whisk together.
Step 4
Take pie plate out of oven once butter is melted.
Step 5
Add diced ham and cheese to egg mixture, blend together and pour into pie plate. Sprinkle red pepper flakes on top.
Step 6
Bake for 25-30 minutes until center is firm. Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly before cutting into quarters and serving.
