Instructions
Step 1
In a large nonstick saucepan, melt the butter. Sauce the onions and garlic until softened about 5 minutes.
Step 2
Add the rice, stirring to coat about 1 minute.
Step 3
Stir in the broth, tomatoes, sausage and cajun seasoning. Bring to boil. Reduce to a simmer, covered, 15 minutes,
Step 4
Add the shrimp and cook until the rice is soft, 5-10 minutes longer.
Step 5
Serve with additional cajun seasoning as a condiment.
