Homemade spaghetti sauce that's easy to make and can feed an average family twice. Leftover sauce can be frozen and thawed later for a second meal.

Instructions
Step 1
Cook beef, Italian sausage, onion, garlic, and Bell pepper in skillet. Drain.

Combine meat and veggies mixture with the tomato products in a crock pot on low. (Cook on high to decrease time to 6 hours, but this takes away from flavor.)

Step 3
Stir every hour for 12 hours (6 hours on high), seasoning to taste as you go. Add baking soda, a pinch at a time, as needed to cut the acidity.
