Instructions
Step 1
In a medium bowl stir together flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
Step 2
Add the butter to a 9x1 1/2 inch round baking pan.
Step 3
Place in 400 F oven about 3 minutes or until butter melts.
Step 4
Remove pan from oven; swirl butter in pan to coat bottom and sides of pan.
Step 5
Meanwhile, in a small bowl combine eggs, milk, and oil.
Step 6
Add egg mixture all at once to flour mixture. Stir just until moistened.
Step 7
Pour batter into hot pan.
Step 8
Bake for 15-20 minutes or until a wooden toothpick inserted near center comes out clean.
Step 9
Serve warm.
