Ingredients

For the Tofu
400gfirm tofu
broken into chunks
2 tspgarlic powder
½ tspblack pepper
½ tspsalt
spray oil
2 Tbspcornstarch
For the Sauce
Instructions
Step 1
Heat oven to 200°C (fan).
Step 2
Dry the tofu before breaking into bite-size chunks.
Step 3
Mix it altogether with cornstarch, pepper, salt, and garlic powder.
Step 4
Place pieces on baking tray and spray with oil. Place in oven until lightly golden (approx. 20 mins).
Step 5
Fry garlic in oil in a pan for a minute.
Step 6
Add vinegar, ketchup, sugar and soy sauce to pan and allow to bubble for a minute.
Step 7
Meanwhile mix water and cornstarch together. Then add to pan and bubble until sauce has thickened.
Step 8
Add crispy tofu to pan and coat.
Step 9
Top with spring onions and sesame seeds.
