Prepare night before

Melt 1/2 cup of margarine in bottom of a 9x13 pyrex pan.

Add in 1 cup of brown sugar sprinkled evenly over butter and mix.

Place Texas toast into the pan on top of the brown sugar mixture.

Beat 5 eggs, 1 1/2 cups of milk,1 tsp vanilla, and a pinch of salt. Pour mixture over the bread cover and refrigerate overnight.
