Step 1
Wash and clean the chicken. Make slits on each piece.
Step 2
Put oil in a pressure cooker. When hot, add garam masala.
Step 3
When it flutters, add onion and sauté till golden and caramelised.
Step 4
Then add the chicken pieces and along with it- salt, ginger garlic paste and turmeric. Cook for a while.
Step 5
Add chilli powder and coriander powder. Mix. Add the chopped tomatoes and cook till the tomatoes are tender and soft.
Step 6
Add the grounded tomatoes and let it cook for a while.
Step 7
Add enough water and cook for 4-6 whistles.
Step 8
Finish with coconut milk and coriander leaves. Serve.
