Step 1
Bring salted water to the boil and add your pasta.
Step 2
In a separate pan heat your oil and add the crushed garlic until browned
Step 3
Then add your can of chopped tomatoes, tomato paste, seasonings, double cream and half a can of water
Step 4
Allow it to simmer for about 5 mins or until the sauce thickens to your liking
Step 5
Check the taste and add salt and pepper. Remember if you are adding the cheese then it can become salty if you put too much salt. You can add 1 tsp of sugar if the sauce is too tangy or salty.
Step 6
Once pasta is done mix it all together and add the mozzarella and cheddar cheeses according to your liking (I just eyeball it).
