Instructions
Step 1
Pre heat oven to 200c/gas mark 7/180 fan oven
Step 2
In a large frying pan, heat up the oil then soften the diced white onion, carrot and thyme
Step 3
Add carrot and cook for a minute or two
Step 4
Add the double cream and white wine before bringing to the boil and adding the Puréety Chicken Casserole seasoning. Mix well
Step 5
Simmer for 10 minutes and add the cooked turkey. Bring back to the simmer and add the chopped chives
Step 6
Remove from the heat. Transfer to an ovenproof pie/casserole dish
Step 7
Bring a pan of salted water to the boil, submerge the watercress in the water for 30 seconds and then blend with the melted butter and a splash of olive oil until smooth
Step 8
Mix the watercress purée and cheddar cheese with the hot mash potato, then top the pie mixture with the mash
Step 9
Bake in the oven until the mash starts to turn crispy and brown - serve and enjoy!
