Instructions
Step 1
Slice the apples and onions and place into an ovenproof dish, in alternate rows.
Step 2
Melt together the sugar, milk, margarine, lemon juice, salt and pepper.
Step 3
Pour over the apples. Top with breadcrumbs and sage, then freeze.
Step 4
Cook for 1 hour at 180C and sprinkle with cheese 5 minutes before cooking time has finished.
