Instructions
Step 1
Cook beef, bell peppers, and onion in 4qt pot over med-high, heat 8 min or until beef is crumbly and vegetables are tender. Drain off grease and return beef mixture to pan.
Step 2
Stir in broth, scraping skillet to loosen andy browned bits. Add tomatoes, salt, and pepper.
Step 3
Add rice, stirring well, bring to a simmer. Cover, reduce heat, simmer 15 to 20 minutes or until rice is done. Add pasta sauce during last 5 minutes.
Step 4
Sprinkle with cheese. Cover and let stand 3-5 minutes or until cheese is melted. Top with green onion.
