Healthy Banana Ice Cream
4 steps
Prep:5min
You can of course do this with any fruit, but the consistency doesn't match the soft serve consistency like it does with bananas. The other frozen fruit I've tried turns out more like a slushy than soft serve.
For some variation, try adding a little different frozen fruit: blueberries, strawberries, or even some mangoes.

Peel, then place bananas into an air tight container. Splash with some lemon juice to preserve color.
Step 2
Break the frozen bananas into chunks and toss them into a mini food processor.
Step 3
Blend until the bananas break down into a soft-serve consistency, adding a tablespoon or two of water to help facilitate blending, if necessary. The result should be a creamy, uniform ice cream!
Step 4
Serve immediately for a soft-serve style dessert, or transfer to a sealed container and store in the freezer for a for a firmer, scoop-able ice cream.
