1orange juice
150 grcrystal sugar
30 grcornstarch
1 bagvanilla sugar
1 tablespoonvanilla extract

Pie crust preparation
Step 1
In one bowl add flour, then add powdered sugar, salt and butter.Butter should be cut into cubes and left in the refrigerator to cool before use. Combine this with a fork or in a multipractice so that the butter does not heat up and melt. When you get a crumbly mixture,add cold water to the mixture. And combine it with a fork. When you combine everything, take the mixture out on a table and knead the dough briefly.
When you mix the dough a little, divide it into two parts. Put each part in a freezer bag. Leave the dough in the freezer for a couple of hours to cool.
Filling preparation
Step 2
In one bowl put cherries, add juice from one orange, sugar, corn starch, vanilla sugar and vanilla extract and combine all this together.

Step 3
When the dough has cooled enough, take one half out of the fridge. Roll it out between two baking sheets with a rolling pin. Place the stretched dough in a pie tin that you have previously coated with butter.
Make the edges of the dough nicely with the mold. Pour the cherry mixture and flatten it nicely. Then do the same with the other half of the dough, that is, roll it out between two baking papers. Cut the dough into strips and decorate the pie as desired.
Baking
Step 4
Bake in a preheated oven at 200 ° C for 20 minutes and then reduce the temperature to 180 ° C and bake for another 20 minutes. When baked, leave to cool and serve with whipped cream or with a scoop of ice cream.
