Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 9x13 pan.
Step 2
Chop up onion and saute with tablespoon of butter until caramelized, set aside

Create yummy sauce mixture: ketchup, brown sugar, 1tsp Worcestershire sauce.
Step 4
In a large mixing bowl, knead together the ground beef, onion, bread crumbs, milk, egg, 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce (NOT 3 ... just 2), salt, basil, oregano, pepper, and red pepper flakes, 1/4 of yummy sauce, mustard
Step 5
Shape the meat into a loaf and put it into the prepared pan. Bake in the 350 degree oven for 45 minutes.
Step 6
Baste meatloaf with remainder of yummy sauce
Step 7
Increase the oven temperature to 400 degrees and bake an additional 15 minutes, or until the meatloaf reaches an internal temperature of 160 degrees F.
