Instructions

Step 1
In a medium sized sauce pan over medium high heat, add all jam ingredients together. Bring to a boil and cook for 3 minutes or until the jam has thickened substantially. It will continue to thicken when it’s cooled. You can strain out the seeds at this point if desired. Set aside.
Step 2
Cut the crusts off of your bread slices. With a rolling pin, flatten slightly.
Step 3
Spread peanut butter and jelly onto the bread evenly covering the entire side. Roll up tightly. Some filling may squish out, just sweep it away with your finger.
Step 4
In a large bowl, mix together all French toast mix ingredients.
Step 5
Place a large sauté pan on medium low heat. Add butter and cook until melted.
Step 6
Dunk the rolls into the French toast mix. Do this step quicker than you would traditional French toast to not flood the center of the roll.
Step 7
Cook and Rotate the rolls 3x to brown all 4 sides.
Step 8
Sift powdered sugar over the rolls to serve.
