Pepper Steak Stir Fry

🌟Pepper Steak Stir Fry🌟  A simple and delicious stir-fried dish with super tender beef and spicy long hot peppers. A little tip for a mild flavor is to remove the seeds from the peppers. Let’s dig in! 🌶️ INGREDIENTS: 8 oz flat iron steak 2 long hot peppers 4 cloves garlic, minced 1 tsp ginger, sliced 3 tbsp cooking oil, divided into 2 + 1 tbsp 1/4 tsp white pepper Beef Marinade: 1 tbsp soy sauce 1 tbsp Shaoxing wine 1/4 tsp baking soda 1 tsp cornstarch 2 tsp water 1 tsp oil DIRECTIONS: - Cut beef into thin slices and marinate with the listed seasonings. Cover and let it sit in the fridge for 20 minutes. - Mince garlic and deseed long hot pepper, cut them into thin slices. - Heat a wok until hot, add oil and bring it to smoke.  - Carefully add the marinated beef and sear until about 60% cooked with some pink visible. Transfer out and set aside. - Add the remaining oil to the wok over medium heat and add garlic, ginger, and peppers. Fry for 30 seconds until they are fragrant. - Add the beef back and season with white pepper. Mix well. - Serve with a bowl of white rice and enjoy!

Instructions

Step 1
- Cut beef into thin slices and marinate with the listed seasonings. Cover and let it sit in the fridge for 20 minutes.

- Mince garlic and deseed long hot pepper, cut them into thin slices.
Step 3
- Heat a wok until hot, add oil and bring it to smoke. 
Step 4
- Carefully add the marinated beef and sear until about 60% cooked with some pink visible. Transfer out and set aside.
Step 5
- Add the remaining oil to the wok over medium heat and add garlic, ginger, and peppers. Fry for 30 seconds until they are fragrant.
Step 6
- Add the beef back and season with white pepper. Mix well.
Step 7
- Serve with a bowl of white rice and enjoy!
