Honey Butter Chicken

Instructions

Step 1
In a mixing bowl, combine arrowroot flour with spices and stir well. Add diced chicken and combine very well until it’s fully coated. Throw chicken into a colander and shake out the excess flour. Set aside. Add 1 1/2 tbsp butter and 1 1/2 tbsp avocado oil into a large pan over medium-high heat. Once oil is heated, add chicken in a single layer and cook until crispy/lightly charred. Cook on the other side until it is the same way. Remove from the pan and turn heat down to medium. Add in the rest of the butter, honey, vinegar, coconut aminos, and salt and pepper, to taste. Keep stirring over a simmer until the sauce thickens up like a thin caramel ~ about 5 mins. Add chicken back into the pan and stir until well coated. Taste for additional salt and pepper and garnish with sesame seeds, green onions, etc. enjoy!
Step 2
While chicken is cooking, cook jasmine rice in a rice cooker or instant pot. Blanch green beans in boiling water for 3 minutes. Drain thoroughly and stir fry with a bit of sesame oil, avocado oil and garlic powder. Add salt, to taste.
